Our mission is to drive Economic Development and Empowerment within the arts and entertainment industry while tackling the social challenges faced by at-risk communities. Through strategic collaborations with community leaders, business executives, and entertainment professionals, HEI is dedicated to creating new jobs, opportunities, and businesses that contribute to the vitality and inclusivity of the entertainment sector

Our Goals
Increase Economic Opportunities for Creatives: HEI provides training, networking, and career development resources to help creatives access more opportunities and achieve their professional goals.
Expand the Entertainment Industry in Greater Houston: HEI is committed to building and enhancing the industry’s infrastructure in the region, fostering economic growth and increasing job opportunities for diverse communities.
Develop Creative Talents of Youth: Through our “HEI Creative Champion Project,” we provide leadership and skills training for young creatives, encouraging them to think creatively, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively.
Support Youth Development in S.T.E.A.M.: As part of our commitment to fostering innovation, we aim to develop youth in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (S.T.E.A.M.). Through our S.T.E.A.M. Initiative, we inspire young minds to explore the intersection of creativity and technology, equipping them with the skills necessary for the entertainment industry’s future.
